Our
Story

Gene Pruett started his insurance career with the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies in Bosque County at the age of 24. Gene had a very good first year. He was promoted to the Hood-Somervell County Farm Bureau and soon became agency manager. In 1985, Gene resigned from Farm Bureau after a very successful 11 years and became an independent agent. He continued writing Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance and became very active recruiting other agents through National Farm Life Insurance Company. In 1992, Gene became involved mostly with Medicare Supplement Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance while also continuing to write Life Insurance as well. Gene’s wife, Angie, joined the Pruett Insurance Agency in 1994 as a licensed agent, after she had completed 20 years in the medical profession. They continue to serve the senior market as well as offering Life Insurance, Annuities & IRA’s to people in their younger years. After many years of having an office in town, and after the Property & Casualty portion of their business sold, they built an office near their home. Their clients are more than welcome to visit their office by appointment. However, most of their business is conducted at your home, at your convenience, by appointment. Gene & Angie pride themselves on giving you time and personal attention in order to find the best policy that will fit your own individual needs for the lowest possible cost.
